You sign up online, a Ro-affiliated provider reviews your case, and a pharmacy ships the medication to your door — the standard shape of a telehealth prescription. What it ships is the branded drug, not a compounded copy, so what you are paying extra for with the brand is the comparison that matters here.

Ro splits the bill in two and says so on the pricing page: membership runs $39 the first month, up to $149 if you don't prepay, and medication is priced separately by drug and dose. LifeMD bills its own monthly program fee beside the same branded drugs.

Ro never adds the two together for you — "the cost of GLP-1 medication is not included" in the membership cost, so budget both lines yourself. Hims splits the bill the same way, and leaves the addition to you as well.

Who it's wrong for

You're pricing this from the $39 headline alone — that number covers one month of membership only, and medication is extra, rising as your dose does. What a first-month rate leaves out.
You need your state confirmed before you sign up — Ro doesn't publish a coverage list, so you won't know until you're in the intake.
You want the drug priced by the company that makes it — LillyDirect sells Zepbound dose by dose at Lilly's own counter, and NovoCare prices the Wegovy pen and tablet at Novo's.
