What it actually costs at Hims
Every medication price sits in one public grid, from $149 for the Wegovy pill up to $1,899 for the Zepbound and Mounjaro pens. Read the dagger underneath it, though. NovoCare Pharmacy sells the same Wegovy pill from the drugmaker's own counter, with no membership behind it.
The Weight Loss Membership is required to get anything filled — $39 the first month, then $149 a month after, billed separately from the drug. So the cheapest advertised option carries a second recurring charge the same size as the first. LifeMD stacks a program fee the same way, and also never adds the two lines together.
Who it's wrong for
Skip Hims if you're comparing headline prices across sellers — this isn't a compounder's all-in figure, it's a drug price with a membership stacked behind it. Knowing what a headline price leaves out is most of what makes two quotes comparable.
