Graded on whether a price is published, checkable, and still true at month two — how we grade · how we verify prices
MEDVi charges $299 a month for compounded semaglutide and $399 for tirzepatide after a discounted first month. Its headline $149 is the rate on a 12-month plan.
After the first month, semaglutide costs $299. The $149 is also the monthly rate on the 12-month plan.

The verdict
MEDVi publishes its semaglutide refill price in plain words and names its pharmacies, which many services do not. But its headline price, its "no membership" promise and its checkout terms all say something different from the fine print.

Pros and cons
What we like
- The semaglutide refill price, $299, is stated in plain words on the public page, not only after signup.
- One price at every dose on every plan, and the plan screen shows all four plan lengths side by side.
- Three partner pharmacies are named with street addresses and phone numbers, more than most services disclose.
- The company's legal name and street address appear in its terms, privacy policy and page footer.
- The refund policy promises a full refund if a clinician disqualifies you, or if you cancel in the first 72 hours before receiving any service.
What could be better
- The headline $149 is the 12-month plan's rate. On the month-to-month plan, the first month is $159 and every month after is $299.
- Tirzepatide has no price on the public pages. The $399 only appears after the full signup.
- "No membership or hidden fees!" sits above three brand-name cards that each charge a $99 membership plus an unpublished medication cost.
- The checkout consent says "cancellation fees may apply", a fee the refund policy never names or prices.
- The checkout and the refund policy disagree about refunds on unused months of a multi-month plan.
- The plan screen runs a ten-minute countdown, and the contact consent box is ticked for you.
- FDA sent MEDVi a warning letter in February 2026 over claims about its compounded drugs.
What it is
MEDVi is an online weight-loss service that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, plus compounded GLP-1 tablets and a membership route to brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound. The company is MEDVi, LLC in Newark, Delaware. Clinicians come from OpenLoop Health and the "CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s", and MEDVi names three partner pharmacies with addresses: Triad Rx in Alabama, RedRock Pharmacy in Utah and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding in Texas.
The homepage also advertises men's health, women's health, peptides, meals and supplements, though most of those are marked "coming soon". Weight loss is the part that is actually for sale.

What it actually costs at MEDVi
$299 a month for semaglutide and $399 for tirzepatide, month to month and the same at every dose. The first month is discounted, and the $149 headline is the 12-month plan.
The weight-loss page says "Start for just $149", and its own FAQ explains that $149 is the first month, with "Refills are locked in at $299". The plan screen at the end of the signup tells it differently. On the month-to-month plan, the first month is $159 after a fall discount code that is applied for you, and $149 is the 12-month plan's monthly rate. Tirzepatide does not appear on the public page at all. On the plan screen it is $399 a month, with a $259 first month.
The page headline also says "No membership or hidden fees!". A few lines down, the Wegovy pill, Wegovy injection and Zepbound cards each read "$99 Membership + Medication Cost", without saying what the medication costs. That is a membership fee on exactly the drugs where the bill is largest.
The plan screen also runs a countdown, "Yours is reserved for" ten minutes. The checkout's consent text says "cancellation fees may apply" and that multi-month packages will not be refunded for remaining months. MEDVi's own refund policy names no cancellation fee and says multi-month plans do get a refund for months when nothing shipped.
Who it's wrong for
- Anyone budgeting from the headline. Month two of semaglutide costs $299, not $149.
- Anyone shopping for tirzepatide on price. It is only priced after the full signup, at $399 a month.
- Anyone who wants brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound with a known total. The $99 membership is published but the medication cost is not.
- Anyone who may cancel late in a billing cycle. Cancellations need 72 hours' notice, and a monthly charge already taken is not refunded.

- FDA warning letter February 20, 2026 — about website claims about its compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide: product labels showing "MEDVi" in a way that suggested it compounded the drugs, and "same active ingredient" comparisons to Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Zepbound, which FDA cited as false or misleading. Common questions
How much does MEDVi cost per month?
Month to month, $299 for compounded semaglutide and $399 for compounded tirzepatide, the same at every dose. The first month is discounted, to $159 and $259 on the plan screen.
Is MEDVi really $149 a month?
Only on the 12-month plan. The public page calls $149 the first-month price for semaglutide, while the plan screen shows $149 as the 12-month plan's monthly rate. Paying month by month, refills cost $299.
Does MEDVi charge a membership fee?
Not on compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound carry a $99 membership plus a medication cost MEDVi does not publish, even though the headline says no membership.
Did MEDVi get an FDA warning letter?
Yes. FDA sent MEDVi, LLC a warning letter dated February 20, 2026, about website claims for its compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, including labels that suggested MEDVi made the drugs itself.
Which pharmacies does MEDVi use?
MEDVi names three partner pharmacies with addresses: Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama, RedRock Pharmacy in St. George, Utah, and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding in McKinney, Texas.
How do I cancel MEDVi and get a refund?
Email customer service or use the portal chat at least 72 hours before your next billing date. A monthly charge already taken is not refunded, but its policy gives a full refund if you cancel in the first 72 hours, before receiving any service.
Why we gave MEDVi a C
Read the full grading rationale
MEDVi states its semaglutide refill price in public: $299 a month after a discounted first month. Tirzepatide is $399, but only on the plan screen after signup. The headline $149 is the 12-month rate, the hero promises no membership while brand-name cards carry a $99 one, and the checkout warns of cancellation fees the refund policy never names. It does name three pharmacies with addresses.
