- The program terms repeat all of it as a table keyed to NDC numbers, with one-, two- and three-month columns, so the per-month rate is checkable against the pack size.
- The promotional rate names its own expiry date and the price that replaces it, in the footnote directly under the number.
- The pills carry no promotion at all: $149, $199 and $299 are the standing rates by dose.
What could be better
- Both pen cards lead with $199, and $199 is a two-fill rate. The standing rate is $349, and it only appears in a footnote and a table.
- No state list anywhere, and no statement about where the pharmacy can ship.
- The insurance tab's $25 needs a commercial plan, excludes government beneficiaries and caps out at $100 of savings a month — none of which is on the card itself.
- The dispensing entity publishes no mailing address, which is the one detail that would let anyone check who is actually filling the prescription.
What it is
This is Novo Nordisk selling its own FDA-approved semaglutide direct, at a cash price, to people who already hold a prescription. There is no program and no coaching — you bring a prescription, they fill it and ship it. Which makes it the cleanest available answer to what the brand-name version actually costs against a compounded one.
You still need a prescriber. The pharmacy page links out to telehealth partners for that, so the asynchronous review most online prescriptions run on sits upstream of this price rather than inside it.

What it actually costs
Four prices, by dose, for the pill: $149 at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg, $299 at 9 mg and 25 mg. The pens run $349 a month at every dose from 0.25 mg through 2.4 mg, and $499 for Ozempic at 2 mg.
The $199 on both pen cards is a new-patient rate covering two monthly fills through December 31, 2026. The footnote directly under it says so, and names the $349 that follows.
A second tab on the same card shows $25 a month for up to three months with insurance, capped at $100 of savings a month. It is a copay assistance offer, not a cash price — the one standard we grade every seller against asks what you pay if you cancel after a month, and that answer is the $349.
Who it's wrong for
- Skip it if you do not already have a prescriber and do not want to find one. This is a pharmacy counter, not a clinic — nobody here evaluates you.
- Skip it if you want a compounded vial, which is what most of this market sells. The pages here argue against compounded semaglutide rather than offering it, and the sellers that do offer it price it differently.
- Skip it if you need to know it works in your state before you start. No state list appears anywhere on the pages that carry these prices.
