Who pays us, and who doesn't

6 of the 28 companies we have reviewed pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. The other 22 pay us nothing. Both lists are generated from the same code that decides where a click lands, so neither can quietly go stale.

One of them is ours

CoreAge Rx is a brand owned by the same people who own this site. That is a closer connection than a commission and it gets said out loud, here and on any page it appears on.

It buys nothing. CoreAge Rx is graded against the same standard as every other company, by the same person, on the same evidence, and carries no exemption from anything — not the grade, not the price sourcing, not the review bar, and not this table, where it is one row among 6. If we ever grade it generously, the whole site is worth nothing, and we know it.

What happens when you click

Every provider link here goes through the same redirector on our own domain before it sends you anywhere. From there one of two things happens. If we have an approved program with that company, you land on their site through our tracking link and we are paid if you sign up. If we don’t, you land on the company’s own site with an ordinary campaign tag on the URL and nothing else — no tracking link, no payout, nothing for us either way.

Which of the two happens is decided by reading where the link actually points, not by a label someone typed in and could forget to update. That is the same test this page’s table runs, which is why the button and the table can never tell you different things. Wherever a link does pay us, we say so next to the button, not in a footnote you would have to go looking for.

You pay nothing extra either way. A commission comes out of the company’s marketing budget, not off your invoice, and we have no way to change what you are charged.

What a commission never touches

A grade. Not once, not by a notch. We read a company’s pages, source its prices, and write the letter and the reason for it before anyone establishes whether we have a program with that company — and those are two separate pieces of code, not two steps in one. If a company dropped its program tomorrow its grade would not move. How we grade sets out the scale and our editorial policy lists the only four things that will move a letter.

Nothing here is for sale: not a grade, not a position on a page, not a mention, not a removal. There is no paid inclusion, no sponsored post, and no advertising on this site at all. Money can decide which partner appears in a side card; it cannot decide what letter a company carries.

Why this page exists

The FTC asks anyone with a financial connection to a company they write about to disclose it clearly, close to the recommendation, and in plain language. A commission counts. So does owning the company. We would rather over-tell you than bury it.
