What it is

MED+ is WeightWatchers' medical tier: GLP-1 prescriptions, virtual clinician visits, insurance and affordability help, plus the company's coaching program bundled in. What you're paying for is the prescription and the support around it — not the drug itself. PlushCare sells the prescriber and not the drug on the same logic, and Calibrate charges for the coaching and the insurance work in much the same shape.

It's a fit for someone already sold on the coaching who wants a prescriber attached, and who has insurance likely to cover the branded GLP-1 anyway. Check that last assumption against your own state — Michigan kept GLP-1 coverage and rewrote who qualifies for it, and it was not the only one to move.
