What it actually costs

The MED+ card shows $74 struck through and $25 in its place. The footnote under it does the honest work: $25 covers the first two months, it requires a twelve-month plan, membership continues at $74 a month for the remaining ten, and the plan auto-renews for another twelve months at $74. So the price you see applies to a sixth of the term you're signing. The footnote also says, in the same sentence, that the cost of GLP-1 medications is not included — and nowhere on the plans page does WeightWatchers say what a Wegovy or Zepbound prescription will cost you. For comparison, the two non-medical tiers run $10 and $20 a month on the same twelve-month structure.

Who it's wrong for

Skip this if you want to walk away after a month — the promotional rate is welded to a twelve-month plan that renews itself. Skip it too if the medication is the thing you're trying to budget for, because WeightWatchers prices the wrapper and not the drug, and you'll be finding out what the pharmacy charges on your own. What it's genuinely good for is someone already sold on the coaching who wants a prescriber attached to it, and who has insurance likely to cover the branded GLP-1 anyway.
