What it actually costs at Hello Alpha
Two plans, both on one page. Plus+ is $79 a month and buys four online visits across a hundred conditions. Basic is $29 a month and buys two visits across eighty. Both are month to month, with cancel-anytime terms printed on the card and free medication shipping listed as included.
The medication itself has no price anywhere. Six GLP-1 products are listed on the weight-loss page and every card carries the same three lines instead of a figure: supply available, insurance or cash pay, FSA/HSA eligible.
We read nine pages looking for one. We also tried the signup to see whether a price appears inside it, but account creation kept failing with a server error, so we can't say what lies past it.
Who it's wrong for
- Skip it if you are budgeting for a GLP-1. The membership is the only number here, and it is the smaller half of what you will spend.
- Skip it if you want the price before the signup. The standard we grade against is what a month costs, and this company answers that for its own service and not for the drug.
- Skip it if you need to confirm your state first. No list of states appears on any of the nine pages we read; the terms say only that providers are licensed where you are.
- Skip it if you want to know who fills the prescription. The company says it uses third-party mail-order pharmacy partners and names none of them.
- Skip it if you expect the seller of the visit to price the drug. PlushCare prints its membership and its visit fee in one panel, and QuickMD charges once per visit and says outright that it cannot quote the medication.
