Graded on whether a price is published, checkable, and still true at month two — how we grade · how we verify prices

TrimRx advertises compounded GLP-1 from $179, but its own terms price the first month at $199 and every month after at $299. Tirzepatide is $349, then $399.

What they advertise, what you pay

Month two costs more than month one, and the homepage shows neither figure, only a lower starting price.

The verdict

The homepage sells a starting price it never explains, and the real month-two figure is only in the terms. No pharmacy or prescriber is named, and the terms price brand-name packages its safety page says it does not sell.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • A written price list exists, in the terms, with first-month and follow-up figures for each drug.
  • The first month and follow-up months include the consultation, medication and shipping in one price.
  • A refund if your medication has not shipped within 14 days, whatever the status of your review.
  • The company behind the brand and an office address are published.
  • Clear, repeated statements that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.

What could be better

  • The homepage's "Starting at" figures match nothing in the terms and are never explained.
  • Every month after the first costs more than the first, for both drugs.
  • No pharmacy and no prescriber group is named anywhere.
  • The terms price Ozempic and Zepbound packages with the medication included; the safety page says TrimRx does not sell brand-name drugs.
  • Results claims such as "98% of users keep the weight off" rest only on its own internal statistics.
  • Refunds on unused prepaid months must be requested within 28 days of paying.

What it is

A weight-loss platform that connects you with clinicians who can prescribe compounded GLP-1s, mainly semaglutide and tirzepatide. TrimRx says it is not a medical practice or a pharmacy; the prescribers come from "independent, affiliated physician groups" and the medication from a state-licensed compounding pharmacy, neither of them named. The medication is compounded, not brand-name.

Its privacy notice names the company as Metafit Pharma Solutions, Inc.; the terms give a San Diego office and California law. The homepage is heavy on testimonials and claims such as "98% of users keep the weight off", sourced only to its own internal statistics. One testimonial is dated December 2026, which has not happened yet.

What it actually costs at TrimRx

Per its terms: GLP-1 is $199 for the first month, then $299. GLP-1 + GIP (tirzepatide) is $349, then $399.

The homepage shows "Starting at $179" for GLP-1 and "Starting at $259" for GLP-1 + GIP, and "Get started for only $179". None of those pages says what the figure buys, for how long, or what follows it. The only public price list is in the terms, under Products and Services, and its numbers are higher: $199 for the first month and $299 for each follow-up month. That gap between a starting price and month two is what this grade is about.

The terms also list Ozempic at $1,299 a month and Zepbound at $1,399, each described as a package that includes the medication. The safety page and the footer say the opposite: TrimRx does not sell, dispense or ship brand-name drugs, and if one is prescribed you fill it yourself at your own cost. Ask which is true before you pay.

Refunds are narrow. You get a full refund only if a clinician turns you down or TrimRx bills you in error, or if your medication has not shipped within 14 days. On a prepaid multi-month plan, the unused part is refundable only if you ask within 28 days of paying.

Who it's wrong for

  • Anyone budgeting off the homepage. The $179 starting figure is lower than anything in the terms, and month two is $299.
  • Anyone who wants to know which pharmacy makes the medication or who prescribes it. Neither is named on any page.
  • Anyone who wants a brand-name GLP-1 through one company. The terms and the safety page disagree on whether TrimRx supplies it.
  • Anyone who might cancel a prepaid plan after the first four weeks. The refund window on the unused months is 28 days from payment.

How TrimRx works

  1. A quiz first

Height, weight, goal weight, sex and age, safety questions, then a long run of lifestyle questions about sleep and motivation.

  2. A clinician reviews it

A provider from an affiliated physician group decides whether to prescribe. Some states require a video or phone visit.

  3. A pharmacy ships it

Compounded medication usually ships within 48 business hours of approval and arrives in three to five business days.

Common questions

How much does TrimRx cost per month?

Its terms list compounded GLP-1 at $199 for the first month and $299 for each month after, and GLP-1 + GIP (tirzepatide) at $349 then $399. The consultation, medication and shipping are included.

Why does the TrimRx homepage show a lower price?

The homepage shows a "starting at" figure without saying what plan or how many months it covers. The only published price list, in the terms, starts higher, so ask for the month-two price in writing before you pay.

Is TrimRx legit?

It is run by Metafit Pharma Solutions, Inc. from a San Diego office, and we found no FDA warning letter addressed to it. It does not name its pharmacy or prescriber group, and its terms and safety page disagree about brand-name drugs.

Does TrimRx sell Ozempic or Zepbound?

Its terms list Ozempic and Zepbound packages with the medication included, but its safety page says TrimRx does not sell or ship brand-name drugs and you fill them yourself. Confirm with TrimRx before choosing that route.

Can I get a refund from TrimRx?

A full refund if a clinician turns you down, if you were billed in error, or if your order has not shipped within 14 days. Unused months on a prepaid plan are refundable only if you ask within 28 days of paying.

Which pharmacy does TrimRx use?

It does not say. Every page refers only to a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy, and none names it.

Why we gave TrimRx a C

Read the full grading rationale

TrimRx's homepage sells "Starting at $179" for GLP-1 and $259 for GLP-1 + GIP and never says what those buy. The real prices sit in the terms: $199 for the first month, then $299, and $349 then $399 for tirzepatide. No pharmacy or prescriber is named, and the terms price brand-name packages the safety page says TrimRx does not sell.
