What it actually costs at Sesame Care
The subscription is $59 a month on an annual plan or $99 a month billed monthly — and neither figure includes the cost of any drug.
Credit where it is due: the whole ladder is published, not just the bottom of it. The month-to-month plan is written as billed every month at its rate, the three- and six-month plans state the saving each produces, and the annual plan states its saving against the monthly plan as a yearly figure. A reader can work out exactly what commitment buys what discount, which is more than most subscription sellers allow.
The deduction is which of the two rates the page leads with. The sentence that answers the reader's own cost question opens with the $59 figure, and $59 is the annual-prepaid rate; the month-to-month rate is two-thirds higher and appears further down in a list. The cheaper number is real, but it requires a year up front, and the sentence that quotes it does not put that condition beside it in the same breath — which is worth knowing before committing, because prepaid terms are the hardest charge to get back.

- The medication prices printed on Sesame's page are the manufacturers' own self-pay rates, and the page says so. We record none of them as this company's price: publishing a drug maker's figure under a telehealth company's name would misattribute it.
- Both subscription figures are recorded as recurring fees rather than medication prices, because the page is explicit that the drug is billed separately.
