The verdict
Clear, per-visit pricing with no membership, a published state list and a plain refund policy. The gap is the drug: MEDvidi never says what the GLP-1 you are prescribed will cost, and it takes no insurance.

Pros and cons
What we like
- All three weight-loss visit prices are printed on the service page, with no membership.
- No extra fee for writing a prescription, per its FAQ.
- A published list of the 35 states it serves.
- A written refund policy: a full refund if you cancel at least 8 hours ahead.
- Named clinicians with their credentials on the service page, and appointments typically within 24 hours.
- Clinicians can also treat stress, insomnia and depression, which its weight-loss page says can drive weight gain.
What could be better
- The GLP-1, the biggest monthly cost, is never priced.
- No insurance accepted, though a drug card on the weight-loss page offers "insurance coverage assistance".
- Changing or canceling within 8 hours of a visit, or missing it, forfeits the fee and adds a penalty.
- Brand-name drugs only; no compounded options.
- Its terms are written for mental-health care; weight loss appears once, in a list of conditions it treats.
- The about page says 36 states while the FAQ lists 35.
What it is
MEDvidi is an online clinic mainly known for mental-health care (ADHD, anxiety and depression) that also runs a weight-loss service. You book a video visit with a licensed clinician, who can prescribe a GLP-1 if it is appropriate and send the prescription to your pharmacy. MEDvidi is not a pharmacy and does not ship medication. The care is provided by MEDVidi Health P.C., a California medical practice, with MEDvidi Inc. running the platform from San Jose.
Its weight-loss page lists brand-name drugs only: semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus), tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), liraglutide, dulaglutide, Contrave, metformin, orlistat and topiramate, plus the controlled drugs phentermine and Qsymia. It does not offer compounded GLP-1s. Booking a visit does not guarantee a prescription, and the page notes that some states require an in-person visit before a weight-loss drug can be prescribed.

What it actually costs at MEDvidi
$195 for the first visit, $159 per follow-up, or $249 for the two together. No membership. The drug is extra, at your pharmacy.
The weight-loss page prints all three visit prices under the heading "Manage Your Weight With Us", and the FAQ repeats the $195 and $159 figures and says there is no extra fee for writing a prescription. The package saves $105 if you know you will need a follow-up. Payment may be split: part when you book, the rest just before the visit starts.
What MEDvidi never prices is the medication, which you pay for at the pharmacy every month. MEDvidi takes no insurance, even though the semaglutide card on its weight-loss page is tagged "insurance coverage assistance". Plan for the drug separately: our guides to what Zepbound costs without insurance and the cheapest GLP-1s without insurance cover that part.
Cancellation is spelled out in a refund policy last updated in May 2025. Cancel at least 8 hours ahead and you get a full refund. Cancel or reschedule later than that and there is no refund plus a $50 fee; miss the visit and the fee is $100. No refund is given if a pharmacy will not fill the prescription.
Who it's wrong for
- Anyone outside its 35 listed states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Oklahoma and South Carolina.
- Anyone who wants the drug and the care in one price. MEDvidi sells the visit; the medication is bought separately.
- Anyone hoping to use insurance. MEDvidi does not accept it.
- Anyone who wants compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Only brand-name drugs are listed.
- Anyone who often reschedules at short notice. Changes inside 8 hours cost $50.

Common questions
How much does MEDvidi weight loss cost?
The first video visit is $195 and each follow-up is $159, or $249 for the first visit and one follow-up together. There is no membership. The medication is paid separately at your pharmacy, and MEDvidi does not quote it.
Does MEDvidi prescribe Wegovy, Ozempic or Zepbound?
Its clinicians can prescribe brand-name semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus) and tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) after a video visit, if they judge it appropriate. Booking a visit does not guarantee a prescription.
Does MEDvidi take insurance?
No. Its FAQ says it does not accept insurance at this time, so the visit is paid out of pocket. Your insurance may still cover the drug at the pharmacy, depending on your plan.
Which states does MEDvidi serve?
Its FAQ lists 35 states, including California, Florida, New York, Texas and Pennsylvania. It does not list Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Oklahoma or South Carolina, among others.
Can I get a refund from MEDvidi?
Yes, in full if you cancel at least 8 hours before the visit, or if the clinician cancels or cannot connect. Once the visit starts there is no refund, and late changes or missed visits carry fees.
Is MEDvidi legit?
MEDvidi is run by MEDvidi Inc. with care from MEDVidi Health P.C., a California medical practice, and we found no FDA warning letter addressed to either. It names its physicians and publishes its state list and refund policy.
Why we gave MEDvidi a B
Read the full grading rationale
MEDvidi prints its weight-loss visit prices on the service page: $195 for the first visit, $159 for a follow-up, $249 for both, with no membership. It also publishes a 35-state list and a clear refund policy. What keeps it off an A: the GLP-1 itself is bought at your pharmacy and never priced, a drug card offers "insurance coverage assistance" though MEDvidi takes no insurance, and its terms are written for mental-health care.
