What it is
Independent Wellness is a small GLP-1 weight-loss practice sold as one clinician's programs rather than a platform: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide by injection, and compounded oral drops of each. Its pitch is provider access — the same provider every visit, unlimited visits, labs included. It is a different model from the way most telehealth prescriptions are actually written.
Its pharmacy page names three pharmacies in full: legal name and trading name, street address, telephone number, LegitScript status, and for one of them the twenty-six states it is licensed to ship to.
Very few sellers we review come close to that. Most say "a licensed US pharmacy" and stop. This one publishes a page whose entire purpose is to tell you which companies handle your prescription and where they are.
It also names its clinician, with credentials: all programs are described as managed by a board-certified nurse practitioner, named on every page footer. We did not verify that license ourselves, and say only that the site names her.

What it actually costs at Independent Wellness
Four products, four numbers, each on its own card. Compounded semaglutide is $99 a month and compounded tirzepatide is $199, with the oral drops priced higher — $249 and $379 a month respectively. Every card lists the same inclusions: medication delivered monthly, unlimited provider visits, labs included, and the line "Your Monthly Price Never Increases". The hero above them says "Payments never change!"
Lower on the same page, a comparison table gives the injection "Pricing Range" as "$99–$279 first month" — a first-month framing on a page that promises payments never change, and a top figure that matches no product it sells.
Both statements are on one page, a few screens apart, and nothing reconciles them. If the cards are right, the table's "first month" is wrong and so is its upper figure. If the table is right, the promise printed four times on the cards above is not. A reader cannot tell which, and the site never says.
There is a second, quieter contradiction about the product itself. The same page describes its semaglutide as "FDA-approved for other uses, but not specifically as a weight loss medication" — which is a true statement about the brand drug and not about the compounded one, and its own product cards label what it sells "Compounded GLP-1". Compounded medications are not FDA-approved for anything. That is the central difference between a compounded GLP-1 and a brand one.
One genuinely good practice sits on every card: "No payment required until approved". The provider reviews first and the money moves afterwards, which is the reverse of several sellers we review and is the right way round.
