What it is

Amazon One Medical offers two weight-loss care paths: scheduled care within a primary-care relationship and on-demand care for people paying cash. The current on-demand page supports starting treatment as well as ongoing check-ins. It is no longer accurately described as a renewal-only service.

The on-demand menu includes Foundayo and Wegovy pills, Wegovy injections, Zepbound Kwikpen and Zepbound single-dose pens. It does not prescribe compounded medication; its FAQ says people taking a compounded product can discuss a transition to a standard pharmacy regimen.

Its published on-demand criteria include adults ages 18–64, meeting the treatment criteria, providing or obtaining kidney-function and blood-sugar labs, and not having diabetes. These restrictions belong to the on-demand program; they should not be generalized to all One Medical primary care.

The privacy notice identifies One Medical Group, Inc. and affiliated professional corporations as part of Amazon Health Services, alongside pharmacies operated by PillPack LLC and subsidiaries. You can send a prescription to your preferred pharmacy; Amazon Pharmacy is an option rather than a required purchase.

What it actually costs at Amazon One Medical

The $39 message fee buys a treatment consultation. It does not buy a month of GLP-1 medication or laboratory testing.

The Texas care selector lists Direct Message Care at $39 and Video Care at $59 per treatment. Messaging is unavailable in some states. These are the current weight-loss fees, rather than the lower general-care figures still found in older descriptions.

For an eligible manufacturer coupon, the medication table lists a 30-day starting supply of Foundayo 0.8 mg or Wegovy tablets 1.5 mg at $149 each. Its injection table lists 28-day supplies: Wegovy 0.25 mg at $199, Zepbound Kwikpen 2.5 mg at $299, Zepbound pen 2.5 mg at $499, and Wegovy HD 7.2 mg at $399. The HD row is a different dose, not the ordinary Wegovy starting injection.

These figures are medication-only and conditional on coupon eligibility. Several are starter-dose prices. Before choosing, compare the price at your expected later dose and confirm coupon duration and eligibility. The page warns that the total also depends on care type, Prime status and payment method; a first supply is not a continuing monthly budget.

On-demand weight-loss treatment is not included in a One Medical membership. Members can schedule video or in-person primary-care visits, or pay separately for on-demand treatment. After an on-demand treatment, follow-up messaging about the care summary lasts 14 days; further questions or treatment adjustments after that require a new treatment request. No fixed ongoing visit schedule was confirmed.
