Male Excel review

CCaveat

Graded on whether a price is published, checkable, and still true at month two — how we grade · how we verify prices

Read on the provider's own published pages.

Male Excel advertises TRT from $95 a month. The membership that treatment requires is another $99 every month, and the first consultation is $99 before that.

What they advertise, what you pay
$95
the as-low-as headline above the treatment cards
$95 plus $99
the medication and the membership it requires, each charged separately

The $95 is the oral tablet alone. The footnote under it says the price does not include the medical membership, which is required for treatment and costs $99 a month. A $99 consultation comes before both.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Every charge the company makes is on a public page — the medication, the membership and the consultation — with no intake walk required to find any of them.
  • The footnote under each treatment card says the price does not include the membership, rather than leaving that to be discovered at checkout.
  • The oral product's own page prints a three-line table with the test and consultation, the medication and the membership together, which is the clearest statement of the real cost on the site.
  • ED medications are priced with the recurring rate and the first-month rate side by side, not one instead of the other.

What could be better

  • The headline says as low as $95 a month, and no one pays $95 a month — the required membership is another $99 every month.
  • Each medication price is written per month, sold as a 60-day supply and billed every other month, and the page never reconciles those three.
  • The ED page says treatment is unavailable in five named states while the locations finder offers all fifty and Washington DC, including those five.
  • No mailing address appears anywhere except the terms page, and the privacy policy gives only an email.

What it is

A men's hormone service selling testosterone three ways — a daily injection, a topical cream, and an oral tablet that works by a different mechanism — each bundled with thyroid medication. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance, and the company says so on the page, along with the fact that state and DEA rules may require an in-person exam.

The commercial shape is the one this whole category runs on: a medication price, a required membership, and a headline built from only the first. Hone Health prices hormones the same way, down to the plus-membership footnote.

What it actually costs

The oral tablet is $95, the injection $120 and the cream $132. On top of every one of them sits a $99 monthly medical membership the page says is required for treatment, and before any of it a $99 online consultation bundled with an at-home hormone test.

The headline over those cards reads prices as low as $95 a month, and $95 is the cheapest of the three medications on its own. It is a floor made out of one line item.

There is a second wrinkle in the same cards. Each price is written per month, sold as a 60-day supply, and billed every other month — three descriptions of a cadence that are not the same thing. The company's own table on the oral product's page prints all three charges together, which is the honest version. The one standard we grade against is what a month costs, and here that needs two numbers.

Who it's wrong for

  • Skip it if the $95 is your budget. The membership is required, it is charged every month, and the medication price does not include it.
  • Skip it if you want a peptide. The site's own peptide-therapy link returns a dead page, and none of the 61 URLs in its sitemap mentions one.
  • Skip it if you are in one of the five states its own ED page excludes. Its locations finder offers all fifty states and Washington DC, including those five, and we are not picking which page is right.
  • Skip it if you want insurance to help. The company states its approach is not covered, and explains why in its own FAQ.

How Male Excel works

  1. Pay $99 for the test and consultation

One charge covers an at-home hormone test kit and the online medical consultation the company requires before it will treat you.

  2. Pick a delivery method

Injection, cream or oral tablet, each bundled with thyroid medication. The page says a dose change will change the price.

  3. Then two charges, on two cycles

The medication is billed every other month for a 60-day supply. The membership is billed monthly and is required for as long as you are treated.

Is Male Excel legit?

Male Excel is operated by Male Excel Inc. dba Excel Medical, 809 Westmere Ave, Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28208. We read that off the company’s own terms and conditions on September 2026.

What that meansA known-positive control passed in the same run, so a real match would have surfaced. A letter would be worth knowing about; it would not by itself disqualify a seller.

Common questions

How much does Male Excel TRT cost?

The medication is $95 for the oral tablet, $120 for the injection or $132 for the cream, plus a $99 monthly medical membership that the page says is required for treatment.

Is the $95 headline the real price?

It is the oral tablet on its own. The footnote under it says the price does not include the medical membership, which is required and costs $99 every month.

How often am I actually billed?

The medication is billed every other month for a 60-day supply, even though the price is written per month. The membership is billed monthly.

Does Male Excel sell peptides?

No. The site's own peptide-therapy navigation link returns a dead page, its footer treatment list names five categories and none is a peptide, and none of the 61 URLs in its sitemap mentions one.

Which states does Male Excel serve?

Its own pages disagree. The ED page says all US states except five, named. The locations finder offers all fifty states and Washington DC, including those five. We are not resolving it.

Why we gave Male Excel a C

Read the full grading rationale

Every price Male Excel charges is published on a public page, which is more than most hormone sellers manage, and the mandatory pieces are disclosed rather than hidden — the footnote under each medication card says the price does not include the medical membership, which is required for treatment. The problem is the headline that sits above those cards: prices as low as $95 a month. The $95 is the oral tablet, the membership is another $99 every month, and an online medical consultation is $99 before any of it starts. The company's own comparison table on the oral product's page prints all three lines together, which is the honest version of the same facts. A second gap runs through all three products: each is priced per month, sold as a 60-day supply, and billed every other month, so the monthly wording and the billing cycle do not describe the same thing. ED medications are priced properly, with the recurring rate and the first-month rate side by side. The state position contradicts itself — the ED page says treatment is available in all US states except five, named, while the locations page offers all fifty states and Washington DC in its own finder, including those five. We read 17 pages and opened all four collapsed pricing FAQs one control per fresh page load. No peptide is sold: the site's own peptide-therapy nav link returns a 404, the footer treatment list names five categories and none is a peptide, and none of the 61 URLs in its page sitemap mentions one. An intake walk was attempted and blocked by a captcha error at the registration form, which is recorded as a blocked probe and nothing more — no price was behind it in any case. The entity trades as one company doing business as another, with clinical care delivered by five separately named professional entities, and only the terms page carries a mailing address. FDA warning-letter screen on the domain and that address: 0 of 0 searched matched, with the controls passing in the same run.

How we reviewed Male Excel

  • Every charge was taken from the card or table it is printed on, and the membership and the consultation are recorded as separate figures rather than folded into the medication price.
  • We did not add them together. Two charges on two different billing cycles are two numbers, and combining them would invent a third that the company never published.
  • Seventeen pages were read and all four collapsed pricing FAQs opened one control per fresh page load. The peptide absence rests on a 61-URL sitemap census plus a dead link on the site's own navigation.
  • An intake walk was attempted and stopped by a captcha error at the registration form. That is a blocked probe, recorded and not used — and no price was behind it, since all of them are on public pages.
